Auto Gas Springs Store provides replacement gas spring
lifts for most RV requirements.
It has become very common to use gas springs to assist
in opening and propping open storage compartments
and various panels on RV's. These applications are
typically called "universal" gas
springs because they are identified by size, i.e.
extended length, compressed length, pressure used,
and end fitting style. So, one part number may well
be used by many different RV manufactures for differing
applications.
The makes that may be using "universal" gas
springs, sometimes also called gas charged lift supports,
lift supports, or lift pistons... to name just a few of the
names used to describe them... are listed below.
If your RV manufacture is not listed, don't assume
we don't have the correct gas spring for your RV application,
most likely we do. Use the selection guide located
on the Universals page to input your needs.
The replacement of gas spring lift supports is easy.
It certainly qualifies as one of the few remaining
do-it-yourself jobs. Check out our installation videos
(they are of cars but RV's aren't any harder) to get
an idea of just how easy.
